Watch our interview with Wallows below!
Earlier this year, American alt-rock trio Wallows dropped their sophomore album, Tell Me That It’s Over. We caught up with the trio to chat about the release, their evolution as a band, bringing their live show to Australia and so much more!
Produced by multi-GRAMMY Award winning producer Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele), Tell Me That It’s Over continues the groundwork of the bands debut Nothing Happens, exploring genre-bending soundscapes that weave together threads lo-fi post-punk and indie-folk to early-90s dance-pop psychedelia.
Bringing their world tour down under, Wallows have this week made their debut on Australian stages, having kicked off their tour in Melbourne earlier this week. The band will take to the stage in Sydney tonight, before wrapping up in Brisbane on November 11.
Earlier this week, the trio shared a new short film chronicling their hometown show in Los Angeles, shot and edited by longtime visual collaborator Nikoli Partiyeli. The visual captures the bands magnetic stage presence, never-before-seen rehearsals, behind-the-scenes footage and live performances.
