Hot off the release of their latest single, Pray For Rain, The Sunday Estate took to the stage last night at Sydney's Waywards to perform two sold-out shows. Supported by Classic, the five-piece brought their signature evocative lyrics set within a post punk realm to the set,
Their new single Pray For Rain comes complete with pounding drums and buzzsaw guitars atop bright sonics, whilst commenting on what is to come. Keeping an optimistic video on the shape of the future, the track tackles environmental and political factors that influence what is in store for future generations.
The Sunday Estaterecently signed to indie tastemaker label Mirror Records, becoming part of the Mirror Music Group family, who have represented the likes of Gang Of Youths, Middle Kids, Clea, Sloan Peterson and Charlie Collins.
