Grammy® Award-winning and Billboard Chart topping duo, The Chainsmokers are back! The hitmakers have today dropped their first single in two years, High, after teasing their comeback with their comedy video titled SORRY, THE CHAINSMOKERS ARE BACK.

Navigating the troupes of a modern relationship, the electric release juxtaposes the downfalls of a relationship filled with distrust and lies with invigorating and driving production that builds to a frenzied chorus. Vocalist Drew Taggart's simmering vocals capture the confusing emotions of unsteady love, soaring above a textural EDM soundscape, leaving us wanting more. High serves as the first taste of the duos forthcoming body of work, aptly referred to by their fans as “TCS4"

Speaking of the track, the duo share: "The song perfectly captures the spirit of today's relationships, the lengths we will go for someone we love, and the lies we tell ourselves to continue on unhappily. However, underlying these dark and often contentious lyrics is a production that feels celebratory because we all know at the end of the day, we never listen to advice, we do what feels best to ourselves and keep telling ourselves it will be different this time.”

Making their debut in 2012 with Erase, which featured vocals from Indian actress, model and singer Priyanka Chopra, the duo earned a legion of fans with their three Multi-Platinum certified hits Roses, Don’t Let Me Down and Closer. Following two EP's, 2015's Bouquet and 2016's Collage, The Chainsmokers shared their debut album Memories...Do Not Open. Across their discography, the duo have worked alongside some of the worlds biggest acts, including Coldplay, Halsey, Flordia Georgia Line, and local legends 5 Seconds Of Summer and Amy Shark.

High is out now!
