Expect the unexpected.
Live music has had an altered presence over the past two years. How have you gone about crafting a set list to celebrate its return following a number of lockdowns and restrictions?
We’re gonna play it really f*cking loud! Make up for lost time.
How important do you think live music is not only for yourself as a musician showcasing their art, but also for the audience members who resonate with your music?
It’s serious medicine… it’s been way too long and everyone needs their dose.
What impact has performing live had on not only your careers, but your own musical practice?
We’ve been going bigger and bigger.
What lasting effects do you hope audience members walk away with after attending one of your performances?
A relentless urge to grin/shake their ass/be nice.
What are your hopes for the Australian live music industry moving forward?
That it isn’t consistently screwed by a government that has no understanding or care for it.
You’ve just shared your great new single, Woman. What inspired the conceptual nature of the song and visual?
They kinda speak for themselves.
