Australian band, Spacey Jane are back! The quartet have released their new single, All The Noise, alongside the announcement of their third studio album, If That Makes Sense.
Pairing intimate and introspective lyricism with the bands signature indie-rock sonics, the track finds frontman Caleb Harper documents his own fears and anxieties when it comes to love - influenced by the breakdown of his own parents marriage. Beneath, the tracks soundscape is fuelled by driving drum work, crunchy bass lines and anthemic guitar riffs.
"All the Noise’ was mostly written in a hotel room in Sydney having landed in Australia for the first time in 6 months,” recalls Harper. “I suppose there was something about being down under again that made my version of the story of the beginning of my life feel so vivid. It's angry, but not at someone, and it's sad because I can't quite get to the bottom of what or who made me. It might be my favourite riff of Ashton's and the tightest Peppa and Kieran have ever locked. It's gonna be so fun live and we're beyond excited to be sharing our first new music in over a year.”
The track arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Dan Lesser and stars singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, spill tab. We follow the four-piece as they pull into a gas station and run amuck.
To celebrate the release, the band will host three intimate sold-out shows across Australia. Having already played Perth's Rosemount Hotel and Sydney's The Lansdowne, the band will take to the stage at Melbourne's Howler tonight.
