SOFI TUKKER: BRINGING 'WET TENNIS' TO THE LIVE ARENA

Watch the interview below

Florida-based musical duo SOFI TUKKER have hit our shores, bringing their engaging live show to audiences across Australia. We caught up with the duo in Sydney to chat all things live music and bringing their sophomore album, WET TENNIS, to their Freak Fam.

Currently touring across the country, the duo were robbed of the chance to bring their live show to this years Splendour In The Grass, following the cancellation of its first day programming. Fans in Melbourne and Sydney however were treated to energetic and glowing performances from SOFI TUKKER, who pit the two cities against each other and kept score in the ultimate live music tennis match.

Playing through songs from their superb catalogue, the duo captured the joy and celebratory nature of their zesty sophomore offering, creating a positive and uplifting live music experience for their beloved "Freak Fam". The tour will continue on to Adelaide tonight, before wrapping up in Perth tomorrow night. Final tickets are on sale now!

Offering up scintillating electro-pop cuts, WET TENNIS is full of dance-floor bangers that are sure to become your new go-to soundtrack. Sun-drenched soundscapes will have you feeling like you're sizzling by the pool and someone has just done a cannonball. Across the record, WET TENNIS is a celebration of joy and feeling alive, celebrating individuality.

Weaving together genre-defying threads into the electronic based soundscapes, Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern met in 2014 at an art gallery, a chance meeting which soon blossomed into an illustrious collaborative partnership. Their debut EP, Soft Animals, arrived two years later, before the duo shared their debut album with the world, Treehouse. The GRAMMY Award nominated release earned the duo a legion of fans and marked their first release under Ultra Music.
