Psych-pop artist Butter Bath is gearing up to drop his new single, I Don't Know How To Be Your Friend. If you can't wait to give the track a spin, you can watch the official music video right here on MILKY!

Serving as the latest taste of his forthcoming EP, Rushes, the track delves deeper into Butter Bath's magnetic sonic realm. Engaging production is fuelled by dynamic synth melodies and dreamy guitar work that underscores the musicians exploration of cultivating honest relationships and not shying away from sharing how you really feel. In the visual, we follow a masked individual as they roam the streets and utilising the disguise as a freeing form of being open.

“Sometimes in friendships you need to have difficult and honest conversations and often you don’t know if it’s going to be constructive or cause the relationship to spiral. The track is about wishing that I could put on a disguise and say exactly how I feel, the same way that school kids get their friends to break up with the person they are dating because it’s too uncomfortable to do it themselves. As an adult you know that being a good friend to someone sometimes means having direct conversations." the musician shares.

Growing up around music due to his fathers profession as a luthier, Anagnostis developed a lust for all things musical, mastering the drums at an early age. He began to develop his vocal abilities whilst also learning guitar during high school, where he also became infatuated with songwriting. Fast forward a few years to present day and Butter Bath has delivered a string of singles and two EP's, Spectator and Kurrajong Hotel.
