Across the vulnerable track, the musicians offers introspective lyricism that touches on themes of addictions within a coming-of-age context, brought to life by polished ear-worm melodies. Produced by the musician alongside Nico Scali, jnr.'s mesmerising vocals float above nostalgia-fuelled production, channelling earlier work from The 1975.
"This is my favourite jnr. release yet. I feel like it encapsulates everything I've been trying to do since I started releasing. I've lived with it for close to three years now - it's the only song that's ever stuck around that long, so I knew there was something special to it." the musician shares.
The musical project of Ben Siva, jnr. made his debut early last year with remember. With a steady string of singles under his belt, the musician is beginning to carve out his own path within Australia's thriving alt-pop scene.
