Sydney four-piece Human Noise are gearing up to release their debut album, Animal People. If you're like us and can’t wait to give the record a spin, listen to the album right here on MILKY before its release!

Released independently, the band worked with producer Ben Edwards (Julia Jacklin, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams), with additional production from Blain Cuneen on The Will Of Others and Animal People. Continuing their exploration of indie-rock sonics, conceptually exploring themes of heartbreak and mental health across ten curated tracks.

Speaking of the record, frontman Eddie Boyd shares with MILKY: "When I started writing the album I was pretty certain it’d be a break-up album. There’s definitely some break-up content in there but for the most part I ended up approaching the subject from an angle of mental health and self-critique and growth. Those themes I think ended up becoming the central focus of the record along with a pretty heavy dose of general cynicism and misanthropy."

To celebrate the release, Human Noise will be hitting the road on an east coast tour. Kicking off in Newcastle on November 5, the run of shows will continue on to Sydney and Thirroul, before wrapping up with two shows in Melbourne.
