Alabama-based artist Brenn! has treated us to the release of his new single, Valapriso. To celebrate the release, the musician has curated an exclusive playlist for MILKY full of favourite songs right now, of all time, and tracks that emulate the same charm and happiness as Valapriso and 4runner.

“Valapriso is a song modeled after a smaller town in Indiana named Valparaiso. Someone I loved was there. I was never able to say or spell the town right, but the song came out okay. Hopefully, that makes up for it." he says of the track.

"I have a wide spectrum of genres I like, but I am very picky when it comes to songs . These are a few songs that I think show all the types of music I listen to and resonate with." Brenn! shares with MILKY.

For the first 3 songs in this playlist, I love the lyrics and storytelling and they were big introductions to folk for me, which is what I love to make now.

Zach Bryan, I love the instrumental, the way he blends that country/folk sound. He’s got some good ones.

CIRCLES - POST MALONE

I just really like Post Malone's voice, the rasp he has is crazy.

HIDE - MARKO

I love Marko’s productions. He makes such interesting sounds.

DAYLIGHT - HARRY STYLES

Harry Styles really introduced me to classic pop with his album, Harry’s House. Daylight would have to be my pick from the record.
