Boiler Room: Sydney hits Sydney Showground tomorrow!
Boiler Room is coming back to Sydney, presented by Absolut, and its bigger than ever before! To celebrate, Mincy has curated an epic party playlist exclusively for MILKY.
Last year’s sell-out Australian series was another historic moment, so this year the culture-shifting Sydney event is taking it to a whole new level. For the first time in Australia, Boiler Room: Sydney will feature two stages, showcasing even more homegrown selectors, alongside some of Boiler Room’s most vital international artists. Each stage will offer its own distinct sounds and style, providing two different experiences.
Inside, embrace the raw intensity and dark energy of a brutalist warehouse hangout, bursting with fast sounds and sheer power from selectors delving into the harder edges of techno and breaks - presented by Absolut Vodka. Step outside and you’ll find yourself in the middle of Sydney’s biggest party, where Boiler Room’s international and local alumni guide you through a buzzing experience covering house, trance, bass and more.
On the home front, the enigmatic Skin On Skin and hard-hitting techno duo X CLUB. will lead a host of electrifying Australian DJs including Anna Lunoe, Club Angel, FUKHED, Mincy, Moktar, Nina Las Vegas, salllvage, Surusinghe, and Yikes.
Boiler Room is also bringing some of its globally renowned alumni to Sydney. Among them are I. JORDAN and Dr. Rubinstein, who both mesmerised audiences at past Boiler Room events like the AVA Festival and Boiler Room x Glitch Festival in 2023. They won't be alone though, the line-up includes powerhouse international DJs Arthi, Bad Boombox, and IMOGEN.
The culture-shifting event will include the most back-to-back performances ever seen on home soil, with collaborative sets from Bad Boombox & Mischluft, Moktar & Surusinghe, along with Anna Lunoe & Nina Las Vegas, who both previously hosted Boiler Room shows in Australia – returning for a special b2b.

ITCH-E & SCRATCH-E - SWEETNESS AND LIGHT
A piece of Australian dance music history and one of my first dance floor loves - that vocal! I’ll be using my Boiler Room set to raise up as much Australian talent as I can.
DJ PANTHA // FEAT. BADMANZ OF BASSLINE
I'm a bass line girl at heart, and this ones my go to. I’ll be bringing some of these wobbly flavours to my set to pay homage to my bass line history.
NEW ORDER - CONFUSION (PUMP PANEL RECONSTRUCTION MIX)
A big part of my sets is showcasing some of the forgotten classics, this one released in 1995 is a staple in my sets. Extremely simple but extremely effective.
MINCY - JUNK CALL
Ive spent a big part of the last six months working away on new music and I can’t wait to share it this Saturday on such a big scale. Junk Call was off my last EP and one of my favourites I've made.
ALEX REECE - PULP FICTION
Another gem from 1995 and this one with arguably one of the best Reese basses in any tune. Ive spent a lot of my time in drums and bass dance floors and this one brings back a lot of memories.
DOUBLE 99 - RIP GROOVE
Probably the style I'm most well known for in my sets is big speed garage anthems. This one was the first ever speed garage tune I heard and it blew my head top off. Dancefloor starter, moment maker, just an all round classic.
RUDE KID - FABRIC
I spent quite a few years Djing only grime on pirate radio in UK and this one was a staple in every set. I love weaving old grime classics into my sets now and will be making sure some makes an appearance at Boiler Room!
STARDUST - MUSIC SOUNDS BETTER WITH YOU
If you’ve been to see my play recently you almost definitely would have heard me drop this. My sets can be very bass heavy and I love using lighter classics to clean the palette along the way when things are getting a bit too dark. This ones a go to in lots of sets.
THE PRODIGY - OUT OF SPACE
Amazing memories attached to this tune, the most memorable being dropping it at London’s infamous club Fabric when I played there and starting a huge dancefloor singalong. Prodigy plays a big part in a lot of my sets, I reckon there’s a pretty good chance some will make the cut for Boiler Room.
KROMESTAR FEAT. CESSMAN - KALAWANJI
Couldn’t do a list of tunes that inspire me without giving some dubstep a moment - arguably the genre that got me into electronic music in the first place! This one from Kromestar a firm classic.
