British rapper Luchi Blue has dropped two new singles, Late Night Drive and Honeydew. We caught up with the musician in London to chat about the releases, his artistry, creating in London and so much more.
Teaming up with producer Benjy and singer Sianybby on both tracks, the songs offer up alternate caverns of the rappers artistry with juxtaposing sonic realms. Whilst Honeydew, Blue's first release of the year, is driven by upbeat production and rhythms, Late Night Drive is a more subdued and spatial listening experience. The songs narrative is driven by a love story between two characters, with Blue and Sianybby trading verses of vivid lyricism.
