Watch our interview with Maggie Lindemann below!
Pop-punk songstress Maggie Lindemann has made her way down under! The singer wrapped up her Australian tour in Sydney last night, and we caught up with her to chat about the run of shows, her debut album SUCKERPUNCH and so much more.
Marking her debut Australian shows, Lindemann performed to sold out crowds at Melbourne's The Prince, Brisbane's The Triffid and Sydney's Crowbar. Described by the singer as some of the 'loudest crowds' she's ever performed for, the tour has been a long time coming for fans of Lindemann, who burst onto the scene in 2016 with her smash-hit, Pretty Girl.
Since then, Lindemann has pivoted from pop-star to punk Queen with a string of releases that push up against the sonic boundaries of her sound. Her acclaimed 2021 EP PARANOIA earned the singer a legion of new fans, leading to the release of her debut album, SUCKERPUNCH.
The body of work effortlessly weaves together threads of punk, hyper-pop and nu-metal to create electrifying soundscapes that unfurl beneath the singers captivating and commanding vocals. Across the album, the singer documents themes of self-sabotage, navigating life and breaking free through empowering lyricism that leads towards a journey of self-discovery.
SUCKERPUNCH is out now!
