Proud Kuku Yalanji and Wakaman woman and overall local legend, Jessica Mauboy is our Valentine. We caught up with the ARIA Award winning artist to chat about her fifth studio album Yours Forever, her almost two decade career, hitting the road for her upcoming national tour and so much more!

Yours Forever is an empowering body of work laced storytelling lyricism that tracks a journey to self-empowerment, and leaving behind insecurities. The singer focuses on themes of reflection and connection, recalling on past memories that helped shape where she is today. Mauboy never falter as she showcases the rich tones and light and shade of her vocals across the album. From her mesmerising lower register to soaring high notes, effortless soundscapes unfurl below that bring together threads of pop, R&B and soul fuelled by the singers blues-infused vocal performance.

Mauboy's Yours Forever tour will kick off at Traralgon's Gippsland Performing Arts Centre on March 12. The run of shows will continue on to Warragul, Geelong, St Kilda, Bendigo, West Tamworth, Newcastle, Sydney, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Perth, Darwin, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart, Albury and Canberra, before wrapping up in Nowra on May 4.
