Perth singer-songwriter Taigh Wade has unveiled his debut EP, One Eighty. We caught up with the musician to unpack the release, performing with The Veronicas, collaborating with other artists and more!
Working with producers James Angus (Example & The Veronicas) and Twice as Nice (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Post Malone), Wade worked on the collection of songs across Australia and the US. The body of work explores love (Lifeline), heartbreak (Apologies) and loss (Elwen), brought to life by striking and intimate lyricism and captivating vocals.
Following a sporting injury, Wade was met with new found free time, which prompted him to pick up the guitar and explore his musical side. Before long, he was sharing covers online and writing his own original tunes, and took out UNDSCVRD - presented by Samsung Galaxy. Through the competition, Wade was awarded the opportunity to support The Veronicas at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne earlier this month.
