Canadian born, London based pop singer, Cate has unveiled her new single, One Hit Wonder. We caught up with the singer to chat about the release, her return to her country roots, hitting the road with Gretta Ray and so much more!

Inspired by all those iconic one hit wonders and a former flame, One Hit Wonder is sure to become your new favourite break up anthem. Weaving in subtle threads of her country beginnings into her contemporary pop sonic palette, the track is heralded by catchy melodies and Cate's smooth vocals. Lyrically, the song name drops a number of famous tracks, including Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, Fountains of Wayne’s Stacy’s Mom and Thin Lizzy’s ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’ to name a few.

Cate is currently in Australia, supporting Melbourne artist Gretta Ray on her national tour. Having already taken to the stage in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, the singers last stop on the tour will take place at Perth's Astor Theatre tonight. Next month, Cate will embark on UK tour with performances in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
