Watch our interview with Caroline & Claude below!
Sibling act Caroline & Claude recently unveiled their debut EP, Nan's USB. We caught up with the duo to chat about the release, their collaborative process, building a visual identity and so much more!
Across the release, the siblings delve deeper into their genre-defying sound, creating an over all dreamy sonic realm that weaves together the wide range of influences including pop, doo-wop dance and hyperpop. Heralded by Caroline & Claude's charming vocal performances and Claude's masterful production, the EP explores their sibling dynamic and the contrast of being an introvert and an extrovert whilst also touching on coming-of-age topics. We're also treated to solo songs from each sibling, offering insight into their individual artistry away from their collaborative output.
Following on from a childhood engaging with music and creative outputs, Caroline & Claude began writing and working on music throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, when the pair began isolating together. Having appeared at BIGSOUND earlier this year, the duo will cap off the year with performances at Factory Festival in Perth and NYE on the Hill in Victoria.
