Rising alt-indie-funk duo Balu Brigada have unveiled their glistening new EP, Find A Way. We caught up with the sibling duo in New York City to chat about the release, the evolution of their sound, their forthcoming tour and so much more!

On their latest offering, Balu Brigada go from strength-to-strength with their inimitable approach to retro-leaning sonics. Synth-laden soundscapes unfurl across six tracks heralded by nostalgia-fuelled production simmers beneath mesmerising melodies and transfixing vocals. Having shed the indie-rock-to-R&B palettes of their earlier releases, Find A Way establishes a new era for the duo that appears as confident as it is catchy. The EP offers an uplifting and optimistic view of the highs and lows of navigating the music industry, and finding a way through love and everyday life.

The musical project of brothers Henry and Pierre Beasley, Balu Brigada are heralding in their own take on groove-pop, fusing together a variety of sonic threads and experimenting with their sound. In 2019, the duo dropped their debut release, Almost Feel Good Mixtape, bringing irresistible melodies and superb production that continued onto their 2022 EP, I Should Be Home.

Now with the release of Find A Way, the brothers will be hitting the road on a world tour with stops in Australia, New Zealand and North America. Kicking off their run down under at Sydney's Vic On The Park on August 18, the duo will then head to Fitzroy to perform at Yah Yah's on August 19. Tickets are on sale now!
