Groundbreaking artist and producer Fred again.. has sent Sydney into a frenzy following his sold-out show at Sydney's Enmore Theatre last night. In Australia for Laneway Festival, the producer began teasing one of his infamous pop-up raves with whale stickers going up around Sydney and Enmore, as well as a projection on Broadway.
This morning, Fred again.. announced he'll be hosting a massive pop-up show at Sydney's iconic Hordern Pavillion tonight, with tickets selling out in under five minutes. "Sydneyyyy last night was ridiculous" he shared to his Instagram story this morning. "shall we go again tonight?... I know lots of people couldn't get a ticket so we're throwing a party tonight in the biggest venue we could find, Hordern Pavillion!!!"
Fans spent most of yesterday hunting for clues of the yet-to-be-announced performance, investigating photos that showed the whale stickers for any hints on where the might be able to find more information. One eagle-eyed fan spotted a trashcan with Woollahra Council's logo and made their way to Paddo RSL in the hopes of stumbling across the musician. Others went on their own treasure hunts across Sydney, with one TikTok user travelling from Paddington, to Bondi to Moore Park to try and score tickets to tonights set.
Having announced a pop-up show in Melbourne last week, the producer left 150 towels at a local venue, which served as a double pass to enter the warehouse show. Whilst he's yet to announce any similar avenue of scoring tickets in Sydney, keep your eyes peeled on Fred again..'s socials, because you never know what might happen.
