ELVIS SOUNDTRACK SET TO FEATURE RECORDINGS FROM STEVIE NICKS, TAME IMPALA, EMINEM + MORE!

The news arrives alongside a new trailer for the film

The ELVIS soundtrack just got a whole lot bigger! Having already been treated to Doja Cat's Hound Dog-infused Vegas and a taste of Måneskin‘s cover of If I Can Dream, director Baz Luhrmann and Warner Bros. pictures have revealed the star-studded line up of musicians who have lent their talents to the films official soundtrack.

Global icon Stevie Nicks, Australian luminaries Tame Impala and 15 x GRAMMY Award winning rapper Eminem lead the eclectic list, rounded out by Ann Nesby, Chris Isaak, Denzel Curry, Ceelo Green, Jack White, Jazmine Sullivan, Kacey Musgraves, Nardo Wick, Paravi, PNAU, Swae Lee, Diplo and Yola. The soundtrack will also feature recordings from cast members Austin Butler, Alton Mason, Gary Clark Jr. and Shonka Dukureh, who play Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup and Big Mama Thornton respectively, as well as Lenesha Randolph, Kodi-Smit McPhee and Les Greene. Whilst the track list has yet to be revealed, the soundtrack will also include original recordings from Presley and the late Rufus Thomas.

With the legendary musicians back-catalogue of beloved tracks featured in the film, ELVIS will document the artists life throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s, and celebrate the ongoing influence and impact Presley continues to have on music to this day. Brought to life by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Baz Luhrman, the film will offer insight into the musicians relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker, played by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks, and former wife Priscilla Presley, played by Olivia DeJonge.

The films latest trailer continues to tease the pictures glitz and glamour, whilst also hinting at the darker side of fame and notoriety. The three minute clip offers a more focused look at Butler's chillingly accurate representation of Presley, capturing his infamous hip-shaking movements and effervescent presence.

ELVIS is in cinemas June 22!
