Last night, the Art Gallery of New South Wales celebrated the opening of their new building with Art For All, a one-night-only concert headlined by international superstar Ellie Goudling. Hosted by Courtney Act and supported by Aboriginal Australian electronic music duo Electric Fields and Australian award-winning artist Meg Mac, attendees were treated to a night of incredible live music, with Goudling performing tracks from her soon-to-be released fifth studio album, Higher Than Heaven.

The new standalone building, designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA, will showcase a bevy of contemporary art across its new and dynamic spaces. With a sculpture garden standing between both buildings, new spaces include the Tank, an adaptive re-use of a 2200-square-metre former Second World War fuel bunker; a 1100-square-metre column-free gallery for contemporary art; and a gallery for time-based art.
