Meanjin-based indie-rockers Dusty have dropped their new single, Brat. To celebrate the release, the band have shared with MILKY their bratty pet peeves!
“It’s about coming out of seeing someone and realising they weren’t actually that great,” vocalist Annie Newcombe explains. “It’s so easy to pedestal someone when they give you the bare minimum, making you feel like you need to be something more. How hindsight always brings perspective, and the frustrating feeling that you wasted time and your life caring so much about someone who is just entitled and not actually worth the energy.”
