Canadian artist Donovan Woods has brought his live show down under! The run of shows arrives off the back of the release of the musicians latest single, 116 West Main, Durham, NC, taken from his forthcoming album, Things Were Never Good If They’re Not Good Now.

Kicking off tonight at Milk Bar in Perth, the run of shows will continue on to Adelaide's Jive tomorrow night before visiting Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Saturday. The musician will then head to Newcastle's Stag & Hunter Hotel on June 20 and Sydney's The Great Club on June 21, before wrapping up his Australian tour at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane. Supported by Hayley Warner, tickets are on sale now!

"I wrote this in a green room at The Carolina Theatre in Durham. I had a great day walking around (really nice town), and I was feeling hopeful. This is what passes as hopeful for me,” Woods shares of his latest release. “I’m trying to forgive myself more, and that’s what I’m doing here. I wanted it to feel like one of those days when you’re getting a lot of errands done. Maybe you’re walking, and your legs feel good. You feel like you could walk forever. It’s sunny, not too hot, and you think it’s good that time rolls on. Maybe it is actually good. Saxophones are the sound of moving on. Maybe you didn’t know that."
