Watch our interview with Circa Waves below!
British indie rock four-piece Circa Waves returned to our shores last week to bring their fifth studio album, Never Going Under, to fans across the nation. We caught up with frontman Kieran Shudall and bassist Sam Rourke to chat about the release, the run of shows, the evolution of their artistry and so much more!
Having last toured Australia eight years ago, the four-piece returned to our shores for triumphant performances in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. The run of shows marked the bands first headline tour of Australia, having previously supported The 1975 and The Wombats.
The band recently shared a companion EP to their fifth studio album, Never Going Unplugged. The curated collection features acoustic reimaginings of songs from the record, recontextualising them into a live and intimate setting, juxtaposing the more anthemic and rousing soundscapes present on Never Going Under.
