Sydney-based indie-rockers Buffalo Paradise have just dropped their second single Promises, just in time for their forthcoming headline show. The band took MILKY behind-the-scenes of the making of the songs forthcoming visual, and we spoke to them about the song, their artistry and more!
Born from a jam session, the track explores toxic relationships and the distrust that can arise, all whilst putting their cheeky Buffalo Paradise spin on the concept. Built atop glistening guitar work and driving percussion, frontman Lachie Pringle's hypnotic vocals soar above the nostalgia-fuelled track.
RAPID FIRE WITH BUFFALO PARADISE
Made up of Pringle, Angus Armstrong ,Chris Armstrong, Rory McDougall and Naren Iyer, Buffalo Paradise came to be after a chance meeting between Lachie and Angus in 2019. Soon after, Angus enlisted his brother Chris, and Rory and Naren found their way into the band. Having made their debut last year with their self-titled debut single, the band capped off the year with a sold-out show at Sydney's The Chippo.
Buffalo Paradise will return to the stage this Friday night at Waywards, to celebrate the launch of Promises. The band will be joined by Asteroid Blues and Lahi, with tickets on sale now!
