FESTIVALS ARE BACK BABY! Yesterday, Yours & Owls made its long-awaited return to Wollongong. Moving from its home of Stuart Park, punters found themselves at home in another beautiful green space, Wollongong's Dalton Park.
Organisers pulled out all the stops to make the festivals 2021 edition one of its most memorable, rolling out not one, but two revolving stages, record players and Lazy Susans, in an Australian first. From four seperate zones, fans were able to lap up live music from some of Australia's best acts!
Taking to the stage on Day 1 were headliners DMAS, who performed tracks from their latest record, THE GLOW, as well as fan favourites from their catalogue. Bringing their live show to the event, the three-piece did not disappoint, with their signature stylings taking centre stage for one of the festivals most memorable performances.
Tones and I made her return to Aussie stages last night, joined on stage by a choir of vocalists. Bringing a bit of her busking beginnings to the set, the musician was the sole performer on stage for the majority of the set, playing to the thousands of fans who chanted along to the superb set.
Yesterday saw a bevy of local talent take to the stage, including Dope Lemon, Haiku Hands, The Vanns, Winston Surfshirt, B-Wise, Clowns, Nerve, Cry Club, Teen Jesus and The Teen Teasers, Left Side Filter and more!
