A MOMENT WITH JESS & MATT

Watch our full interview with Jess & Matt!

Last month, Husband and wife duo Jess & Matt released their stunning debut original record, Wildflowers. Featuring the singles Aftermath, Wreckage and Home Ain't a Home, the album debuted at #11 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart, with the duo hitting #1 on the Australian iTunes chart.

Teaming up with songwriting legends including Steve Solomon (James Arthur, Dean Lewis), Dave Hodges (Keith Urban, Dan + Shay), PJ Harding (Noah Cyrus, Ruel) and Louis Schoorl (Astrid S, Charlotte Lawrence), the recordtells the tale of acceptance and growth through times of darkness, played out across ten tracks.

Aftermath marked the first ever music video from the duo, directed by award winning filmmaker Remy Brand. Filmed across three days between Sydney and Mungo National Park, the clip showcases Australia's beautiful and vibrant landscapes, as we follow the duo whilst they make their way through the terrain, making their way back to each other.

To celebrate the release, Jess & Matt will be hitting the road, playing two intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Dubbed Wildflowers at the Chapel, the duo will be taking to landmark chapels in both cityies, performing songs from the ethereal record in Prahan’s Chapel Off Chapel in Melbourne on Friday 10 September, pending Covid restrictions, with a rescheduled Sydney date to be announced soon at Waverley’s Jubilee Chapel. Tickets are on sale now.

Jess & Matt shot to fame after appearing on The X Factor Australia in 2015, placing third on the singing competition after being mentored by American legend Chris Isaak. Since then, the duo have released two cover albums and an EP, which featured the original track, Sydney To Me. Jess & Matt have performed across the country, including at the 2016 Australia Day concert alongside Tina Arena, Guy Sebastian and more of Australia's musical royalty.
